Choose a Photographer to Suit You
What Do You Want?
Take a look at my portfolio and if you like what you see, give me a call or drop me an email. It's as easy as that!
I'm Louise Farrell, and I work as a professional pet photographer based in the south of England. I'm a Qualified Member of the Guild of Professional Photographers (QGPP) and have won various awards for my images including from the Kennel Club Dog Photographer of the Year competition in 2019.
I capture the personality and character of pets and their humans for private and commercial use. I'm based in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Pembrokeshire and I'm happy to travel.
My dogs are rescue border collies called Meg and Jake. I also have rescue cats who are moggies called George and Dylan. My old dog, Bo was my muse and inspired me to set up my business in 2014. I haven't looked back.
My aim is to put a smile on your face whenever you see the photographs I've taken for you.
I adore what I do and hopefully that comes across in my photographs and the feedback from my customers, many of whom have now become friends!
I photograph more or less any animal which has four legs and is hairy - dogs, cats and horses mainly!
My photoshoots are first and foremost fun for everyone involved. That ensures the photos I take brings out their personalities.
Clubs and Competitions
I also work for clubs and attend competitions in flyball and agility where I capture the action!
I have been an official photographer for Prof Noel Fitzpatrick's DogFest National Events (the Supervet on Channel 4) for five years. Through this event I've had photographs printed in Dogs Today Magazine.
Volunteering at DBARC
I also volunteer at my local dog rescue photographing their animals who are looking for their forever homes - they tell me it's helpful to have a professional photographer working with them and from my point of view it's a privilege to be able to give back and help the rescue.
